Incident in Eilat has concluded

A protest in Barcelona against Israel’s Gaza policies turned violent, injuring 20 officers and leading to multiple arrests, while similar rallies took place across southern Europe.

<p>Following the sirens that sounded regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in the area of Eilat, a UAV that was launched from Yemen was likely intercepted by the IAF.</p><p>Sirens regarding rocket and missile launches were activated due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception.</p>

<p>A Hamas source told Al‑Arabiya: "We have begun collecting the Israeli bereaved hostages and asked for the bombing to stop so we can complete the task." </p><p>He said the living hostages would be returned within 72 hours, but that recovering and returning the remains might take longer.</p>

IDF Chief LTG Zamir led a surprise drill in Gaza, stressing there is no ceasefire and warning that if needed, troops will return to fight until Hamas is dismantled.

<p>Netanyahu’s office clarified that Ron Dermer will not be departing with the delegation to Cairo at this stage and is expected to join them later.</p>
